Areebah Anwar, PA-C
Areebah Anwar was born and raised in Norman, Oklahoma. She completed her Bachelors of Education at the University of Oklahoma (Boomer sooner!) and then went to complete her masters of Physician assistant studies at The University of Oklahoma’s PA program in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She graduated with her degree in 2019, and subsequently began working with the University of Oklahoma Pulmonary/Critical care department shortly after.
She gained valuable experience while working in the ICU, managing and caring for patients with respiratory (helped manage a lot of COVID pneumonia) and a wide array of other disease states. After moving to Iowa in 2022, she worked in inpatient cardiology before transitioning to an outpatient role. Her time in the hospital has fueled her desire in helping patients stay out of the hospital. Her passion for sleep stems from her cardiopulmonary interests and she is looking forward to helping serve this population.
Outside of work, Areebah enjoys spending time with her husband and family, traveling, crafting, catching up on Netflix, and cheering on the OKC Thunder at games.
